Mangxu Party Branch Organizes Members to Participate in Martyrs Memorial Education Activity
Activity Background and Purpose
On the morning of November 12, 2021, the Party Working Committee of Zhai Mountain Street, Quanshan District, organized a martyrs memorial education activity for Party members. The Mangxu Party Branch actively responded to the call and organized Party members to participate in this activity, aiming to strengthen their ideals and beliefs and enhance their sense of responsibility and mission through on-site learning of the Party's history.
The Huaihai Campaign was one of the three major campaigns during the War of Liberation, being the largest in scale and resulting in the highest number of PLA casualties, laying a solid foundation for the liberation of all China. This educational activity was held at the Huaihai Campaign Memorial Tower, which holds profound historical significance and educational value.
Activity Process
In front of the Huaihai Campaign Martyrs Memorial Tower, all Party members faced the Party flag, raised their right fists, and together reaffirmed their oath of allegiance to the Party. The resolute and powerful vows echoed in front of the memorial tower, expressing the members' loyalty to the Party and their determination to serve the people.
Subsequently, the Party members arrived at the wall inscribed with the "List of Martyrs of the Huaihai Campaign." Facing the thousands of unfamiliar names on the wall, the comrades bowed deeply, paying the highest tribute to the revolutionary martyrs. Behind these names lie countless heroes who bravely sacrificed their lives for the birth of New China.
Finally, all Party members visited the Huaihai Campaign Memorial Hall. Guided by the narrator, scenes of battles unfolded before their eyes, transporting their thoughts to that era of war and flames. Through precious historical photos, physical exhibits, and scene reconstructions, the Party members deeply felt the spirit of the revolutionary forebears who feared no sacrifice and fought valiantly.
Study Discussion and Outlook
During the study discussion, all Party members of the Mangxu Party Branch expressed their commitment to carry forward and promote the spirit of the Huaihai Campaign in their future work, extending this spirit of struggle into their work and careers, playing a leading and exemplary role as Party members, and striving to write a brighter chapter for Mangxu.
